Create energy with movement.
We tend to underestimate how easy it is to switch gears and head in the right direction. The impact of each passing choice brings us closer or further from our ideal image of life. Some things are better off avoided completely while others should have more time and energy poured into them on a daily basis. The right balance of what is up to each of us to figure out. No two people have the same path or exact life experience. A key component to clarifying your own specific vision is to understand that life is basically the movement of different energies. It’s possible to become competent in almost anything with the right dedication. Pair volume and repetition with talent and passion and we’re well on our way to making dreams a reality.
If we look at the broader scope of life and pay attention to how we feel in different situations and environments, it becomes much easier to determine which things are draining us and which things are giving us more energy. There are tradeoffs to be made in each moment. There are risks to be taken to reach the next level. Instead of taking everything at face value and being told how to live by people who don’t have your best interests at heart, do what you can with what you have and shift the odds in your favor. We can sit around and think the worst or we can change perceptions and look for solutions. Drive and vision are important but don’t psych yourself out trying to reinvent the wheel on the first attempt. Develop competence in areas you’re interested in that can propel you forward and combine a few key skills to level up overall.
We love to overcomplicate things but being able to focus on the moment at hand and understanding that the work being done in each area is for a greater purpose, it becomes much easier to complete tasks that will pay dividends down the line. Getting caught up in past mistakes or dreaming about future possibilities can sap the energy from the present. Analyze how things are now compared to where you’d like them to be and take those initial steps forward. Physically we can get in better shape by incorporating diet and exercise methods that are enjoyable and increasing resistance over time. Mentally we can get sharper and make more money by learning the right skills and implementing them. Spiritually we can gain more faith and hope for life and the world by believing in a higher purpose and higher power that guides us. The questions will start to answers themselves and the specifics will get sorted with some action and knowledge. Each time we step into the arena we gain more wisdom and experience that make us stronger and smarter the next time around.
Tune out the noise.
As the years go by, it seems like it’s getting harder and harder to focus on a grand scale. We have more information than ever before at our fingertips and this consequently makes it harder to dive deeper and be curious about most things for an extended period of time. Our brains are bombarded with messages on a daily basis, trying to make sense of everything that’s in our sensory field. It’s very easy to just drift along and remain scattered.
Turning off the noise doesn’t necessarily mean we have to sit in a dark cabin somewhere in the mountains and meditate alone. It serves to zone in on the right areas while making your purpose and mission the center focus. Each different aspect of the day should come together to make life better overall. Wasting time and energy by worrying about things outside of our control is a great way to remain in a rut and feel powerless. Much better served using what’s given to hit the needle movers and push forward.
Almost everything that appears in our environment can be used as a tool to gain freedom or to become enslaved. Technology is evolving at a rapid pace. We can use these new innovations to waste time and consume our energy or we can create systems that will help us bring our visions to life. There’s a good and bad side to every situation. It’s up to us to look for opportunity or complain about problems. Use what can help and discard what’s getting in the way. Be aware of the channels you’re tuning into. After some time focusing on the right areas, the path forward becomes much clearer.
Get into a flow state.
One of the best feelings is being completely engulfed in the mission at hand. It takes some time and effort to get good enough at something to remain entirely in the moment while doing it. Without that initial competence or talent, it might be harder to enjoy the process. This a huge reason why many people quit things early. It might take months or years to start seeing some good results and many don’t conceptualize that the time will pass by anyway and they won’t regret the work when the rewards are rolling in. Constant motivation is difficult but when the basics are solidified it’s much more exciting to play the game.
It pays off to be courageous and push the boundaries while genuinely wanting to learn and improve. Don’t hesitate to seek out opportunity and swing for the fences to reach a better position. Theory is great but when the chips are down, we have to perform under pressure in the moment to reach the next level. The game is obviously more fun to play when we start to win. It enables us to be more creative and put our own spin on things once the foundations are set. Most limits are self imposed and with the right shift in perception, it’s possible to get around any obstacle.
When we see masters in different fields, they make things seem effortless. What we fail to recognize are the countless hours and years behind the scenes developing the right skills and forming pathways that got them to where they are. We can start building our own lives in a similar fashion by focusing on what matters. The road won’t always be smooth but with enough momentum and faith in the mission, we can build a life that we love living.
